As Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Sanjeev Singh provides strategic direction to CMS IT Services and mentors the senior leadership team towards it. Sanjeev has more than three decades of experience in leading global and domestic organisations across IT, ITES, Telecom and Industrial sectors. Until recently, he was a member of CII Karnataka Council & Chairman of CII Karnataka CEO Forum.

He comes with a proven track record of turning around large underperforming businesses into engines of profitable growth. Notable transformations brought under his leadership are;

• Transforming Wipro India SRE’s Services & Product businesses into profitability with an annualized bottom-line impact of $100 Mn.
• Turning around Mphasis’ & Genpact’s India businesses to profitability.

Before joining us, Sanjeev was Wipro’s Chief Operations Officer and a member of Wipro Executive Board. As COO he led Business Operations, Talent Supply Chain, CIO, Quality, Immigration and Process Transformation and key strategic projects. His core responsibility was enabling business growth and accelerating profitability through operational excellence across organizational processes. Prior to this assignment, Sanjeev was the Head of Wipro’s India Business, Chief Risk Officer & Chief Quality Officer.

Prior to his career at Wipro, he led Aegis as CEO for India and Sri Lanka. There, a team of 27,000 professionals led by him delivered value from 27 locations to 50 clients. Sanjeev set Aegis on a profitable growth trajectory. He first became CEO at the age of 27 of an industrial equipment company where in three years he multiplied the business ten times.

Sanjeev is adept at creating value and delivering it at scale. At Bharti Airtel he is credited for improving experience for 200 million customers across all lines of businesses. As the Global Head of Delivery for Mphasis BPS, Sanjeev managed large client engagements across US, Canada, Europe, India and Australia in multiple verticals from delivery locations across India, Europe and Americas, while improving profitability significantly (1500 basis points), achieving major gains on CSAT, and achieving highest ever employee satisfaction scores. At Genpact, he executed diverse assignments including both business and functional roles.

Sanjeev is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) and Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), where he was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. In 2022, he was awarded with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his alma mater IIM-K.

He is passionate about fitness, mentors start-ups, and is a well-regarded speaker in areas of leadership, business transformation and operational excellence.
